Italian Designer Glass Table Lamp

The Italian Designer Glass Table Lamp from Dune & Ash stacks two flattened glass discs on a slim chrome stem, so the lamp reads as a piece of coloured glass sculpture during the day and glows from the inside at night. It is a mid century Italian shape and it is unapologetically the loudest thing on the sideboard.

The glass is coloured through rather than coated, so the colour holds its depth where the two discs overlap instead of looking printed on. The stem and round base are polished metal, which keeps the glass looking like it is floating rather than sitting on a block, and the base is weighted low so the lamp does not tip when a cable is tugged. Light comes out through the glass in every direction, which makes it an accent light rather than a reading light. Four colours are available.

It plugs into a standard socket with a switch on the cord, so there is nothing to install. Wipe the glass with a soft dry cloth, unplug it before cleaning, and let the bulb cool before handling it.

Plug type. This lamp is supplied with an Australian plug. If you are ordering from outside Australia you will need a plug adapter, and you should check the fitting suits your local supply before use.
