About

Dune & Ash is an Australian homewares store. We sell lighting, mirrors, wall pieces, textiles, storage and things for the garden.

What we are trying to do

Most homewares shopping falls into one of two traps. Either everything is disposable and looks it, or the nice things cost more than the room they go in. We sit in between. The aim is a small, considered range of pieces that look calm, feel solid in the hand, and do not shout.

How we choose things

Every piece in the store is chosen rather than simply stocked. We look for honest materials, proportions that sit well in a real room, and finishes that get better with use rather than worse. If something only looks good in a photograph, it does not make it in.

We would rather carry fewer things and stand behind all of them.

The look

Warm neutrals, natural timber, soft light, quiet shapes. Pieces that work together without matching, so a room can be built slowly instead of bought in one go.

Where we ship

We ship across Australia. Orders are usually processed within one to three business days, with delivery typically taking five to twelve business days depending on where you are.
