15L Odour Sealing Trash Can

A bin is judged on one thing, which is whether the kitchen smells. The 15L Odour Sealing Trash Can from Dune & Ash seals the lid against the rim rather than resting on it, so what is inside stays inside between openings. That is the whole reason to spend more than the price of a plastic bucket.

The lid closes on a gasket and damps shut instead of slamming, which matters in an open plan room where the bin is three metres from the sofa. Elevated legs lift the body off the floor so the tile underneath can be mopped without moving it, and nothing collects in a wet ring around the base. An inner liner ring grips the bag and hides it, so no plastic hangs over the outside, and the liner lifts straight out for emptying. Fifteen litres suits a small kitchen, a bathroom or a home office without dominating the corner. Four size and finish options are available.

Wipe the outside with a damp cloth and rinse the inner liner under a tap when it needs it, drying it before the bag goes back in. Change the gasket seal is not needed, but keeping the rim clean is what keeps the seal working. It suits a kitchen, a bathroom, a bedroom or an office equally.
